Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop new business through lead generation, cold communications (i.e., phone calls, emails, social platforms), and referrals
- Successfully onboard customers through internal department processes and collaboration
- Grow market share with existing customers by positioning RPM’s full suite of services and executing on customer strategy through proactive communications
- Anticipate and coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service
- Monitor customer and industry vertical trends to take appropriate actions to optimize revenue
- Manage daily customer operations in our transportation management system including but not limited to building orders, shipment capacity coverage, tracking, billing, collections, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide strategic planning including but not limited to pricing, operational efficiencies, and issue resolution.
- Prepare presentations, provide cost comparisons, and present QBRs to customer stakeholders
- Adhere to departmental KPIs, production metrics, and sales-related activities, including pipeline management
- Attend and participate in any training or educational sessions deemed necessary by the department
- 1-5 years of Logistics or Supply-chain Experience
- 1 years of Automotive or OEM Experience
- Customer Service/Support
- Experience with CRM Platforms such as Salesforce
- Experience with lead generation platforms such as ZoomInfo
- Ability to travel (less than 5% of the time) to meet with customers and/or attend industry conferences
