What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cloud Network Engineer position at RPMGlobal?

We are looking for Amazon Web Services (AWS) networking, architecture / design, and security.

Job Duties :

Building and operating Services, APIs, and Tooling for a variety of use cases related to cloud networking.
Owning and driving cross-functional projects that enable product and development.
Leveraging your Cloud Network Engineering expertise to influence the development of our codebase, working closely with our software engineers.
Engaging directly with end engineering users to understand their needs and improve their overall experience with the Infrastructure.
Balancing bias to action with the ability to make well-informed decisions.
Understanding and solving business needs at scale with high-quality solutions.

Required Skills :

US Citizens Only

At least 2-4 (two to four) years of professional experience in Cloud Network Engineering on a major cloud provider platform at scale, preferably AWS.

Deep understanding of TCP / IP, Routing, IPv6, and IPv4.

Proficient with scripting and have a solid understanding of programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.

Passion for technology, pragmatic thinking, and the ability to dive into ambiguous areas and break down complex problems.

Experience supporting core infrastructure services.

Minimum of 3 (three) years of relevant experience.

Relevant experience in developing and deploying cloud and platform automation.

Relevant experience in designing and building scalable containerized applications.

Relevant experience in IP networking, load balancing, and DNS.

Good written and technical briefing skills – can effectively communicate with teammates and leadership.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing workplace.

Experience with Agile development methodologies; using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
