The Innovation and Technology Department (ITD) is seeking a motivated contract Programmer Analyst. The candidate will participate in systems analysis, application architecture, systems design and development, database design, and applications programming. Contractor will be assigned to the ITD’s Human Capital Management (EMACS) team to partner with Human Resources and to support and maintain its Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
The position requires experience with PeopleSoft suite of development products (Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, SQL, etc.) and familiarity with all phases of the SDLC. The candidate will analyze and resolve production system problems and monitor production systems to ensure correct and efficient operation. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving, organizational and communication skills, and keep abreast with emerging technologies.
Responsibilities :
- Designing, implementing and testing HCM applications involving new features and functionality from functional requirements.
- Maintenance, support, design, development, and implementation of HCM applications.
- Developing and maintaining applications and modules related to Payroll, Time and Labor, Benefits, Benefits Administration, ePerformance and Talent Acquisition Management and Candidate Gateway modules.
- Database design in Oracle, SQL and formulating advanced SQL queries.
- Developing new and maintaining existing Database ETL processes and reports.
- Good communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment, and communicate with clients.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills; ability to handle changes in business requirements and set priorities across multiple projects.
