Structural Field Engineer
One of our established clients is currently looking to hire an experienced Structural Field Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard construction engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using solid engineering judgment in making decisions
- Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with regard to construction-related issues identified on drawings
- Coordinate the completion of construction activities in assigned systems and prepares punch lists to ensure the readiness of systems for release for turnover to the client or for start-up
- Ensure all applicable safety codes, regulations, and guidelines are met by appropriate design and use of technology
- Perform quality inspections on-site during construction Facilitate responses to requests for information and quick resolution of issues on site
- Reviews, maintains records and responds to Contractor Information Requests (CIRs) as assigned
- Monitors assigned subcontractor(s) for compliance with subcontract technical requirements
- Monitors technical service representative (supplier) daily logs and reviews / approves their timesheets
