RR Charlebois Inc. is seeking a truck sales person for our Plattsburgh NY Facility. This person will develop relationships with new and existing customers and assist them in determining the appropriate equipment for their needs. They will market, sell and organize inventory of new and used Western Star and Freightliner heavy duty trucks along with heavy duty trailers and duty dump bodies.

RR Charlebois/ Charlebois Truck Equipment is a local, family-owned truck dealership with locations in Plattsburgh NY, Milton VT and Warner NH. We also offer full truck repair services in our Diesel Shop, our Sprinter Shop, and in our Body Shop.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL TASKS
Prepares quotes for new and used heavy duty trucks, trailers and dump bodies, determine trade-in values.
- Maintains all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations
- Become familiar and knowledgeable with brands such as Western Star and Freightliner trucks, Brandon Dump Bodies, Manac, and Stargate and BWS Trailers.
- Assists customer and arranges payment terms in accordance with established guidelines.
- Prepares and calculates invoicing and other accounting related functions.
- Manage various reports (Sales, Telephone)
- Act as an overall coordinator with other departments; Parts and Service.
- Provide administrative support; i.e. (fax, copy, assist with Bids & Quotes, input orders)
- Responsible for incoming mail related to sales
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Background in heavy truck and trailer sales
- Computer literacy in MS Word and Excel
- Outstanding organizational skills
- CDL license is helpful
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in Heavy Duty Truck Sales preferred.
High school diploma or GED.
Ideal candidate should have various computer experiences (Excel, Word, and Internet)

Duties performed in an office environment. Physical activities are required, such as but not limited to reaching, stooping, lifting, up to approximately 5 pounds. Vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work.
EVALUATION
The Sales Manager will evaluate performance on the ability and effectiveness in carrying out the above responsibilities.
