What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Assistant 1 position at RR Donnelley?
Shift 2nd 10 hr. shifts M Th 3 : 00 PM to 1 : 00 AM Shift Premium $2 / hr
- Ensure paper or raw materials (inks glues etc.) are loaded into feeders hoppers bins etc. to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running
- Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of the paper
- Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation
- Recycle old / discarded plates
- Provide basic assistance as needed to makeready the equipment for operation
- Assist with retrieving plates hanging plates and recylcling / storing plates and other tasks associated with makeready of the plates

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $17.42 to $19.42 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon but not limited to : education skills experience proficiency performance shift and location. In addition to base salary depending on the role overtime shift differential callin and standby pay.
