This position involves working on a 12-hour rotating night shift with specific schedules for each week. Initially, you will start on 2nd or 3rd shift and transition to the 12-hour rotating schedule as our plant adapts to the new shift in the first quarter.
Night Shift employees are eligible for a $3/hour shift differential.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform all make-ready tasks associated with the type of press operated, such as hanging plates or installing cylinders.
- Examine plates/cylinders for imperfections and check for correct positioning of images.
- Prep blankets, adjust tension, and register etc.
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, equipment, and safety requirements.
- Skill to read and understand job specifications to determine press set-up materials needed to run the job successfully.
- Ability to make adjustments to feeder and feed board.
