What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Assistant 12hr Days position at RR Donnelley?
Catch insert and pack finished products coming off the presses. Review final product performing a series of quality checks before loading in to trays or bins. Perform finishing make ready tasks prior to startups. Assist with machine make ready and clean up as needed. Operate the Segbert. Follow postal guidelines when packing direct mail orders and completing skid tags.
- Inspect product for quality defects and correct errors as they occur
- Pack band and / or sort product into batches packets and pallets
- Count trays on pallet and compare with shipping documents to ensure correct count / weight.
- Document progress and issues / resolutions to ensure proper reporting across departments / shifts
- Other duties as assigned

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $16.00 $20.40 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon but not limited to : education skills experience proficiency performance shift and location. In addition to base salary depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential callin and standby pay.
