Fund Operations and Accounting Analyst

Currently our team is looking for an experienced and highly organized Fund Operations and Accounting Analyst to play a critical role in supporting daily operations and administration across multiple fund vehicles. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions, maintaining fund records, and providing operational support to the investment team. The analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure the smooth functioning of fund operations.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounting
- Assist with Financial Statement preparation
- Interface with third-party fund administrator
- Review and reconcile loan data from Servicing team
- Support annual Audit process
Treasury Management
- Monitor and manage daily cash position
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts across different platforms
- Manage AP process
- Project cashflows and forecast liquidity levels
Debt management
- Manage warehouse line/RLOC reporting
- Calculate RLOC interest payments
- Onboard new loans to warehouse lines
- Coordinate responses to lender information requests
Investor Reporting
- Prepare quarterly investor reports
- Produce return calculations
- Respond to investor account questions
- Work with the IR team on due diligence requests
- Assist in producing presentations
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
- Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Professional Experience: 1-2 years in finance, accounting, treasury or a related field.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial principles, reconciliation, escrow analysis, and loan servicing accounting.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, or custom loan management tools).
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate issues, address concerns promptly, and resolve challenges independently.
- Customer Service Focus: Dedication to delivering a best-in-class experience for borrowers, investors and team members.
- Location: Desire to work and live in Greater Phoenix, AZ area.
