RRC is seeking a talented Field Geophysicist/Geologist (Travel) to help us build the future of U.S. energy production from our Round Rock, Texas office. RRC is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm that specializes in energy projects, particularly renewable energy, throughout the United States. Responsibilities:
- Conduct geophysical data collection in the field, with approximately 90% of time spent at field sites.
- Assist with geotechnical projects, including supporting drilling crew management, overseeing site operations, taking piezometer readings, and monitoring other geotechnical instruments.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by project managers within the scope of geophysical and geotechnical projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in fieldwork and ability to work in diverse and outdoor environments.
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with field data collection techniques is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
