The ability to exercise effective time management, appropriate and respectful boundaries, and sound judgment is essential. A candidate must be able to devote the time and energy required but understand the personal and organizational value of successful prioritization and collaboration in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
This position also supervises the admissions department. This includes monitoring referrals, assisting with facilitating assessments for access to treatment, monitoring changes in levels of care for participants, maintains rapport and builds relationships with community partners and referral sources, supervises a team of admission coordinators and support staff, prioritizes positive customer/participant experience, and ensures census goals are maintained.
Pay ranges from $104,000-$110,240 annually
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain knowledge of and compliance with our 245F Withdrawal Management Program Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Develop, build, implement 245F Program Structure and process for admission and discharge.
- Oversee the 245F program by way of supervision of the Nurse Manager.
- Oversee the Admissions/Intake team that manages admissions for both 245G and 245F programs.
- Manage the admissions department and all processes within. Adapt the protocols of admissions to meet the need of our participants.
- Maintain current information regarding both county and HMO referral procedures.
- Assist, maintain, and audit DANES information and record keeping.
- Oversee and maintain relationship with Assessment Contracts in the community.
- Provide general clinical and program oversight and partner with the Director of Recovery in the management of the day-to-day operations of programs.
- Lead oversight and monitoring of:
- Program census
- Group capacity
- Participant retention
- Provider productivity
- Supports special teams and projects including Quality Improvement, Participant Satisfaction, and Utilization Review
- Sets performance goals related to deliverable services and monitors progress on goals.
- Assists with the development of new policy and procedure.
- Participate in county provider meetings.
- Ensure program follows data privacy practices including maintaining client confidentiality per HIPPA and 42CFR.
- Collaborate with community partners to help address service needs or issues.
- Participate in on-call coverage rotation.
- Other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- Active license in Behavioral Health or Nursing
- Experience working with diverse cultural groups.
- Possess sound personal judgment and strong time management skills.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to convey a positive and professional image.
- Well organized, motivated, and goals and detail orientated.
- Supervisory experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Windows-based PC’s and Microsoft Office software.
- First Aid/CPR certified.
- Must be able to favorably pass applicable criminal history/background checks.
- Two years free of any problems associated with chemical dependency. Employees directly responsible for persons being served by the program are prohibited from abusing prescription medication or being in any manner under the influence of a chemical that impairs the individual’s ability to provide services or care.
- One year off correctional supervision.
- Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds with multiple problems.
- Positive driving record (periodic review of driving record required).
- Valid state driver’s license.
