Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, ensuring their safety, and fostering their development through engaging activities. This role requires someone who is patient, attentive, and capable of managing various childcare needs, including those of children with disabilities.
Duties
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
- Provide care for infants and young children, including feeding, diaper changing, and nap supervision.
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to play and explore.
- Light cleaning such as vacuuming, mopping, and washing dishes.
- Assist with homework and educational activities to support children's learning.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's daily activities and any concerns that may arise.
- Implement routines that promote good hygiene, healthy eating habits, and positive behavior.
- Provide first aid when necessary and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in babysitting or nannying, with a strong background in childcare.
- Familiarity with infant care practices and experience caring for young children.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to educate and engage children through creative play and structured activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with both children and parents.
- Patience, reliability, and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on the job location.
- Must be good with dogs.
