We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and manage two critical teams within our organization : the Salesforce Sales Cloud Development Team and the IT Infrastructure Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management with an emphasis on managing development teams, particularly in Salesforce Sales Cloud, while also possessing the ability to oversee infrastructure operations. This position requires excellent leadership, organization, project management, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
- Align both the Salesforce Sales Cloud Development and IT Infrastructure Teams with company goals and delivery of high-quality work.
- Build and manage a high-performing IT department by hiring, developing, and evaluating team members.
- Set priorities and schedules, allocate resources, and resolve personnel issues.
- Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders and coordinate closely with them to gather and prioritize requirements and to ensure systems meet all business objectives.
- Oversee the creation and updates of policies and procedures to effectively manage all areas of responsibility.
- Ensure that all delivered technology solutions meet various compliance and industry standards that apply to our company.
- Effectively manage all aspects of the vendor lifecycle, including but not limited to, vendor selection, contract management, performance oversight, and maintaining strong overall partnerships.
- Contribute estimates to annual budgeting process and ensure IT meets budget targets.
- Perform all other related duties, as assigned.
Salesforce Development Oversight
Lead and mentor the Salesforce Sales Cloud Development Team, offering guidance on technical challenges, supporting career growth, and cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Use strong project management skills to oversee Salesforce Sales Cloud custom development projects through all phases, including planning, design, architecture, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions while bridging technical possibilities and business needs.Design and oversee Salesforce Sales Cloud architecture, ensuring alignment with business processes and technical best practices, while developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for solutions and architecture.Direct the IT intern program, hiring and training interns to be valuable contributors.Establish and enforce best practices in development, coding, testing, documentation, and deployment.Proactively monitor and optimize Salesforce applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.Stay up to date on Salesforce features, best practices and evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance system capabilities.IT Infrastructure Management
Lead the IT Infrastructure Team responsible for maintaining PCs, servers, network systems, security protocols, and telephony services.Supervise the deployment, maintenance, and management of IT infrastructure systems, ensuring reliability and security.Monitor server and network performance to maintain uptime and data integrity.Oversee IT support processes to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across the organization.Requirements
Experience / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT.Minimum 3 years as a software development manager. Experience managing infrastructure teams is also ideal.Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and ecosystem, with Salesforce Sales Cloud certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Developer) preferred, or a strong technical aptitude and desire to learn.Background in IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, security, and telephony systems.Exceptional project management skills. PMP or other project management certification is a plus.Strong PC skills including high level of skill in Microsoft Excel.Ability to work independently, lead and coach others, and facilitate and negotiate effectively.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including presentation abilities.Proven problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Experience in healthcare is desirable but not required.Please Note : If you do not have experience as the manager of a software development team, please do not apply.
Physical Requirements
General office environment that will include frequent or continuous periods of talking, sitting, fingering, repetitive motions of the hands / wrists, reaching, grasping, and handling. This position also requires occasional bending, squatting, standing, and walking. Pushing, pulling lifting, and carrying of up to 10 lbs. is required on an occasional basis. Good general vision and hearing are needed.
