Asbestos Abatement Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Abatement Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely removing hazardous materials such as asbestos and mold from various environments. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, particularly OSHA regulations, and a commitment to restoring and building safe spaces for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of sites to identify hazardous materials requiring abatement.
• Perform asbestos abatement and mold remediation in compliance with safety regulations.
• Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Safely remove, transport, and dispose of hazardous materials according to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Restore affected areas to meet safety standards, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during the abatement process.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed on time while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Previous experience in asbestos abatement or mold remediation is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices related to hazardous material handling is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and elevated areas.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work performed.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
