Duties
- Assist in the installation and assembly of pipeline systems under the guidance of skilled pipefitters.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to support construction tasks.
- Help with welding tasks, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Support in measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately to ensure proper alignment and plumb conditions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation processes.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while working on-site.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of pipeline systems and construction practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing and welding tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to pipefitting, welding, and construction techniques.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
- Previous experience in a construction environment is advantageous but not required.
