We are looking for a Patient Coordinator to serve as our patients’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their care. Patient Coordinator responsibilities include scheduling new and existing patients, providing information about our services, and supporting a first and lasting impression with teamwork. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in a front desk/coordinator position, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable experience for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients upon their arrival and ensure they feel appreciated and welcome
- Scheduling appointments for patients in person or on the telephone
- Manage the schedule
- Organizing and maintaining patient information
- Present treatment plans and financial contracts to responsible parties
- Preparing letters, information packets, and other correspondences as needed
- Collecting and posting account payments
- Collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their appointment)
- Provide information about our Orthodontic and Pediatric services
- Respond to questions in a timely, knowledgeable and professional manner
- Liaise with our clinical staff and doctors to ensure all patients experience our commitment to service and care
- Maintain updated records of calls and appointments
Skills
- Minimum 1 year Dental Front Desk experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Work experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role required. Medical experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
Schedule
Full time (4 days) with one evening until 8pm
