About the Role
Reporting into the Project Manager, you will play a key role in Client interface and engagement for work packages, technical queries, and engineering. This position will be a FIFO from Perth to Pilbara, WA on a 19 days on / 9 days off roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance of the project to ensure industry codes and practices are adhered to, quality assurance policies are followed, and performance standards are met.
- Identify and resolve scope discrepancies, provide technical support and manage scope change control.
- Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
- Monitor quality and quantity of incoming equipment and materials.
- Manage QA / QC systems.
- Support the Project Manager and Site Team in preparing accurate monthly reports.
- Participate in planning and forecasting of budgets and timelines.
- Check work drawings, construction and specifications against site plans and conditions and arrange corrections or modifications where necessary.
- Generate technical queries and requests for information.
- Compile and maintain required engineering registers and document management systems.
- Collaborate with site-based personnel including supervisory staff, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, consultants, the client, regulatory authorities, and industry bodies.
