Painter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of color theory, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques and the ability to restore and enhance surfaces to meet client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on fixture installations and remodeling projects.
• Restore surfaces using stucco techniques where necessary.
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while working on construction sites.
• Assist with general carpentry and drywall tasks

Experience

• Proven experience as a Painter in residential or commercial settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities.
• Knowledge of color theory and its application in various painting projects.
• Experience with remodeling projects is a plus, as well as skills in fixture installation.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
