Senior Account Executive
About the Role:
As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for executing experiential marketing programs and events, retail promotions, and shopper marketing campaigns in support of your assigned portfolio of client accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of assigned programs with excellence, anticipating the client and program needs and delivering the “RSM Way”
- Provide primary day-to-day account management to assigned clients, fostering strong relationships through proactive and regular communication
- Develop presentations, proposals, marketing materials and recaps and assist with presenting in both internal and external meetings
- Work collaboratively with account team and internal shared service departments to ensure all necessary steps are taken to deliver results that exceed client expectations
- Source assets, materials, supplies, and/or media to support programs and events
- Lead necessary steps to ensure proper approvals are received by client
- Work with third party vendors, partners and contractors to secure staffing and services
- Track and report expenses to ensure account team’s fiscal responsibility of program budgets, reviewing and maintaining program P&Ls
- Identify opportunities for additional account revenue
- Establish billing timeline on assigned programs and work with internal accounting department to create client invoices
- Occasional travel is required to oversee program kick-off events, high profile events, and client meetings (<25%)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in an agency or account management role
- Exceptional organization, planning and project management skills that reflect a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
