What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at RT Machine Service, Inc.?
RT Machine Service is woodworking machinery service and repair business, and we are seeking a SERVICE TECHNICIAN to join our team based out of a remote location in Wilkes Barre, PA (Hanover Township, PA) for a long-term project.

Duties will include moving and installing machinery in a production environment and at times, supporting factory technicians on site. All skill levels welcome to apply.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Basic pneumatic knowledge
- Ability to work independently and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Must be able to take direction and instruction from senior level technicians
While not required, the following skills would be a plus:
- Experience with woodworking machinery
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Machining experience
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license
- Forklift operation / certification
- Technical degree or formal certificate (not required)
**Pay rate based on experience and skills. Employment offers contingent on results of background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report.**
