Software Engineer - SAP 5
Beaverton OR - Onsite
12 months of contract
pay range - $70 to $80 / hr on w2 (Depends on exp)
The role focuses on computer and telephony technology tools used for creating, storing, exchanging, and utilizing information. Requires expertise in one or more Hot Skill Technologies (Java, .NET, SAP, PeopleSoft, See Beyond).
Key Responsibilities :
- Develops code, configures applications, and designs job schedules for high-risk, complex requirements.
- Installs software and updates for critical systems.
- Approves and conducts design and code reviews , executing code deployment across environments.
- Influences vendor decisions on overall direction, standards, and solutions .
- Reviews and approves test plans, test execution, and validation .
- Collaborates on integration needs and design .
- Contributes to database design and creates high-risk, advanced technical designs .
- Leads and owns technical / design documents ensuring compliance with business requirements and Nike corporate standards .
- Provides application support, problem-solving, and issue resolution with internal and external resources.
- Performs technical analysis and makes recommendations for solutions.
- Contributes to the RFP process , identifying technical issues and risk mitigation .
- Defines and communicates technical requirements for projects.
- Provides budget input for engineering tasks.
- Applies architecture, governance, security, and global process standards to system changes and deployments.
- Establishes and maintains coding / configuration standards and best practices .
- Conducts performance monitoring , analyzes performance benchmarks, and recommends optimization strategies.
- Creates and executes performance test scripts , ensuring applications meet business needs.
