Job Title : Security Engineer

Location : San Diego, CA (Hybrid)

Duration : 6 Months

Pay Range : $60-$65 / h on DOE

Responsible for :

Increase coverage of Client’s attack surface by tuning a commoditized Attack Surface Management (ASM) tool to identify client’s external-facing assets Calibrate the commoditized ASM tool to remove low-fidelity and false-positive findings Build automation to Extract / Transform / Load findings from the ASM tool to a data warehouse Publish findings generated by the ASM tool to executive reports and data feeds Measure the change in Client’s attack surface over time to find new and emerging areas of risk

Skills :

• 3 years of experience in cyber security and software development
• Experience with data analysis in a cybersecurity domain, specifically with SQL Experience with coding and scripting languages (Python, Bash) Ability to validate security findings for accuracy Ability to research and integrate 3rd party solutions Familiarity with agile methodologies Cloud experience (AWS) and familiarity with containerization (Docker) a plus
