Russell Tobin has partnered with a leading logistics organization to support their growing business! This is a contract role (expected duration of 8-12 months with potential for extension / conversion to permanent) based in Detroit, Michigan.
We are seeking a CAD Designer responsible for creating detailed drawings of material handling equipment, work areas, and components based on existing examples while also providing design support for future projects. Drawings will require precision and attention to detail, including plan views and elevation views as needed. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and produce comprehensive drawing sets that support standardization of workspaces and designs across a large network of operations.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the design team to translate concepts into detailed models and drawings.
- Develop comprehensive drawing sets for material handling systems and workspaces.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project standards.
- Support design initiatives aimed at standardizing layouts across multiple facilities.
