Position Details :
Role : Backup Solutions Architect
Location : Downey, CA - Hybrid
Duration : 12 Months Contract with possibility of extension
- Strong experience in deploying, supporting, and maintaining data protection in a Hybrid cloud.
- 6 years of hands-on experience managing data backup and recovery for diverse on-premises workloads, including VMware, AIX, HP-UX, NAS, Windows, and Linux environments.
- 6 years of experience with native backup setups for cloud service providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.
- 6 years of experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Commvault SaaS for protecting Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, Azure VMs, Blob Storage, AWS EC2, EFS, S3, and GCP VMs.
- 6 years of hands-on experience in configuring and managing high-speed backups and restores using IntelliSnap, handling database backups (Oracle, MS-SQL, DB2, PostgreSQL), and managing immutable storage buckets (GCP, AWS, Azure) with WORM configurations in Commvault.
- 6 years of experience in Commvault Hyperscale appliances, VTL, tape libraries, and Auto Recovery solutions for VMware and public cloud integrations.
- 6 years of experience in troubleshooting Commvault components, configuring firewalls for DMZ / cloud clients, and executing system upgrades and migrations (e.g., Data Dobi, Continuous Data Replication).
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Storage with NetApp Cluster Administration, including SVM, volume, and LUN configuration, SMB / NFS file shares, SnapMirror replication, snapshots, encryption, deduplication, and quota management.
- 5 years of experience managing Pure FlashArray for volume and object storage configuration, replication, and quota management is critical.
- 5 years of experience setting up monitoring and alerting systems like NetApp Active IQ and Pure1 dashboards for performance tracking and virtual infrastructure mapping.
