Reserved for the most skilled and knowledgeable individuals, this advanced-level position operates with autonomy and is integral to the engineering department's leadership team, extending its influence across all facets of company operations.
This role is based in the Saint Paul, MN area and a relocation package is available.
Essential Functions :
- Oversee project execution, ensuring schedules, costs, and benefits align with expectations.
- Estimate costs, secure funding, and audit project performance.
- Develop scopes, manage 3rd-party engineering firms, and supervise contractors.
- Lead commissioning and start-up of new installations.
- Act as an expert in engineering design and process improvements.
- Lead design calculations and establish best practices across facilities.
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Troubleshoot and optimize plant operations.
- Mentor engineers and develop consistent engineering standards across all sites.
