Location: Mason, OH 45040 (Onsite)
Duration: 03 Months with the possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.42 per hour
Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Flexible)
Job Description
The UM Support Analyst will be responsible for providing administrative and data entry support for UM (Utilization Management) prior authorization requests. This includes working within various systems such as Facets, Filebound, and Jira, managing outbound notification calls to providers and members, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the UM prior authorization process by entering and updating data in relevant systems.
- Utilize Facets, Filebound, and Jira to process and track authorization requests.
- Perform outbound notification calls to providers and members to relay important information related to authorizations.
- Ensure that all work adheres to compliance and security protocols.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation for auditing purposes.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve issues related to prior authorizations.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:- Previous data entry experience.
- Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Critical thinking skills to analyze and address challenges.
- Ability to multitask and handle time-sensitive requests efficiently.
- Experience with prior authorization processes, particularly in health-related fields, is a plus.
- Familiarity with Facets, Filebound, and Jira is advantageous.
- Prior experience with HealthFirst and Anthem is a bonus.
Additional Compliance and Training Requirements:
- The position requires monthly screenings (OIG/GSA/OFAC) as part of compliance, which must be documented and submitted for auditing purposes.
- Completion of mandatory training within the first three weeks, including compliance and HiTrust/security requirements, with proof of completion submitted for records.
