Job Description
Billing Specialist: Execution and Coordination of Mental Health Practice Billing
- Execute billing operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy in billing processes and procedures.
- Manage and process insurance claims, including submission, follow-up, and dispute resolution to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Troubleshoot patient accounts by managing and resolving outstanding patient balances, maintaining current and accurate patient and payment data.
- Ensure billing practices comply with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and other state and federal guidelines.
- Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends, monitor patient receivables, and implement procedural improvements.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving any billing inquiries or disputes from patients or insurance companies in a professional and timely manner.
