How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Deburr Technician you will use multiple types of deburring tools that remove rough edges from metal parts, per drawing and specification requirements, maintaining a high degree of concentration and accuracy. This team enables our organization to produce products on-time and to customer’s requirements. You will work alongside many departments such as : Quality, Engineering, and Operations to produce high-quality products.
What you’ll be doing as a Deburr Technician :
- Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Fife, Washington location.
- Review and understand deburr callouts on blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, work instructions, work orders or sample part.
- Check for machine readiness to ensure functionality and performance.
- Use grinding equipment with various types of grinding wheels and Scotch-Brite abrasive wheels to remove burrs. Remove and replace wheels when worn or defective.
- Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Use handheld deburring knives and pneumatic tools equipped with burr tools to remove heavy burrs.
- Use drill press equipped with burr tools to remove heavy burrs. Interchange & replace burr tools as required.
- Adheres to all workplace safety guidelines, policies, and laws determined by the company, state, and federal authorities.
- All other duties as assigned.

Work Environment :
A large percentage of work time is spent in a machine shop where temperatures vary from hot to cold. The environment may also include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc. Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required.
Compensation and Benefits :
Employee Benefits : Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, long-term disability and 401(k) with up to 6% QACA company match.
The Deburr Technician Compensation range for onsite Fife, Washington applicants is $19 – 21 / hr. commensurate with experience. Some shifts may include shift differential pay rates. Other site ranges may differ.
