What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Programmer position at RTC of Southern Nevada?
**Although there is a salary range for this position, salary will be negotiated depending on experience.**
This recruitment will be used to establish an open competitive and promotional eligibility list that may be used to fill this vacancy and vacancies occurring in this classification for a minimum period of six (6) months. Performs professional duties related to the analysis, design and programming of operating systems software.
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
Working Conditions: May work shifts on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Education and Experience: Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or a closely related field and a combination of two (2) years of full time professional experience in systems programming or software process/development.

Interfaces with project staff and users to ensure customer service and communication. Manages activities of contracted vendors in relation to systems software operations. Serves as resource for technical assistance in regard to system issues. Researches and keeps current on new products, methods, and techniques. All other duties assigned.
