Position Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Construction & Commissioning Instrumentation Technician who can manage all aspects of field instrumentation, from initial installation checks to final commissioning and integration. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of process measurements, control valves, vibration monitoring, and various communication protocols. Experience in large-scale industrial settings such as refineries, chemical plants, nuclear facilities, fossil fuel power stations, as well as midstream and upstream oil and gas environments, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities :
Instrumentation Installation & Inspection :
- Verify proper installation of diverse instrumentation including flow, level, pressure, temperature, analytical, and vibration measurement devices.
- Conduct thorough installation inspections against project drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Document inspection findings and prepare instrumentation installation records.
Configuration, Calibration & Commissioning :
Ultrasonic (transit-time, doppler), magnetic, Coriolis, vortex, variable area, thermal mass, turbine, and DP-based flowmeters with primary flow elements (orifice plates, venturis, pitot tubes).
Radar (free-space, guided wave), magnetostrictive, displacer level transmitters, capacitance, ultrasonic, DP level, and float-based systems.
Accelerometers, velocity probes, eddy-current displacement sensors, and portable vibration analyzers for rotating machinery health monitoring.
