What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Visualization Specialist position at RTI Consulting, LLC?
Location : Fort Belvoir, VA
Clearance Required : Current DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI
Required Qualifications :
Minimum : A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design, Statistics, or a related discipline is essential >
Professional Experience.
Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in Visualization Tools : Extensive experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, Qlik, and other data visualization platforms.
- Data Management : Experience with data management and manipulation tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
- Design Skills : Strong understanding of design principles, including UX / UI design, to create intuitive and impactful visualizations.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in data visualization, data analysis, or closely related field
Preferred : Advanced Degree : A master's degree in data science, business analytics, or a related field can be advantageous and demonstrates a higher level of experience and commitment.
Industry Knowledge : Defense and Intelligence : Prior experience or familiarity with defense and intelligence community operations, requirements, and challenges. Knowledge of current trends and best practices in data visualization, particularly those that support modernization and innovative solutions in the intelligence community
