About the Project
The USAID Mexico Partnership for Net Zero Cities aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by improving energy efficiency measures in buildings and transportation sectors, and reducing Short Lived Climate Pollutants (SLCP). This program is based in Mexico City and includes programming throughout Mexico.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead the implementation of PNZC objectives and ensure project quality. The selected candidate will develop key stakeholder relationships, serve as USAID's primary point of contact, and direct activities by RTI's consortium partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall project design and delivery, providing technical, administrative, financial, operational, security, and logistical support.
- Develop and implement a common vision among diverse partners, including private sector, public sector, and civil society.
- Liaise with USAID and RTI home office on technical and financial matters, implementing programming and reporting.
- Foster and maintain effective, professional relationships with government counterparts, local organizations, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee preparation and delivery of high-quality reports to USAID, including quarterly and annual reports.
- Lead the development of the annual work plan and associated activities, ensuring synergies across technical components.
- Act as a mentor to team members and foster an inclusive learning environment.
