About the Project
The National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) is a government-sponsored research study that has been conducted since 1971. This important study provides up-to-date information on alcohol, tobacco, drug use, mental health and other health-related issues in the United States.
Your Role
You will be working as a Field Interviewer to conduct in-person interviews with study participants, collect data, and ensure the integrity of the research process. This is a part-time opportunity to work approximately 25 hours per week when work is available.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field interviews with selected respondents to discuss the study, answer questions, and obtain participation
- Collect confidential information and administer standardized questionnaires
- Independently manage administrative duties, including participating in conference calls and completing online trainings
- Transmit data as scheduled
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old at time of employment
- Must possess High School Diploma or GED
- Possess effective communication skills through speech and listening
- Fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking
- Available for entire training and data collection period
- Able to successfully complete training
