RTI International has an opening for a Master’s-Level Public Health Analyst to join our team in addressing health equity, gender, and HIV across multiple applied research projects, including clinical trials. We are looking for a trained analyst who has experience in areas such as research coordination, quality management, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, communicating with project team members, and manuscript development.
This is a Hybrid Position. Candidates must be located in and able to work from our Research Triangle Park, NC office and local project sites, when needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall managerial support and study coordination across health equity research projects.
- Conduct quality management procedures to ensure protocol fidelity.
- Prepare protocols and study modifications for IRB approval.
- Assist in training project staff, along with developing study manuals and quality management plans.
- Contribute to proposals, reports, manuscripts, and scientific presentations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in public health, psychology, sociology, education, social work, or related field, plus at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Previous research coordination experience.
- Direct project experience and commitment to addressing health equity, gender, and HIV.
- Experience screening, recruiting and enrolling research participants.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
- Proficiency in the use of quantitative (e.g., Stata, SAS) and qualitative (e.g., Atlas.ti, MAXQDA) data analysis software.
- Grant writing experience preferred.
- Strong writing and synthesis of literature/research.
- Experience with survey programming and testing.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about improving the health of others.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
- Great attention to detail and works well with others, willingness to be flexible.
- Ability to plan, anticipate and manage multiple tasks.
- Ethics/human subjects research training, such as CITI.
- To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
