We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Loan Department Assistant to support our team in a dynamic work environment. Document Preparation and Review:
- Prepare, review, and finalize loan documents and loan assignments for RTI Bridge Loans in compliance with lending policies and state regulations.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and delivered in a timely manner.
Loan Coordination:
- Collaborate with loan officers and borrowers to gather necessary information for loan documentation.
- Coordinate with title companies, escrow agents, and other third parties to ensure smooth loan closing processes.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Maintain an understanding of state and federal lending regulations related to RTI Bridge Loans, training will be provided.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in loan files before document finalization and loan funding.
Client Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for borrowers and stakeholders during the loan document preparation process.
- Provide updates regarding the status of loan documents and requirements.
System Management:
- Utilize loan origination software and document management systems to ensure efficient workflows.
- Maintain accurate records of all loan documentation activities in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in loan documentation, real estate investment lending, or a similar financial sector.
- Knowledge of the lending process.
- Proficiency in loan origination and document preparation software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in real estate lending or property investment financing.
- Basic knowledge of California real estate and lending regulations.
