RTL Equipment, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Parts Associate in Big Lake, MN. Previous heavy equipment or aggregate experience is preferred but not required. This job entails processing parts orders internally for our service department as well as externally for customers.

This is a full-time 40 hours per week position with no nights or weekends required. Offering a competitive benefits package including health insurance, 401(K) with a company match, annual bonus opportunities and paid time off. Compensation will be based on experience.

RTL Equipment, Inc. is a heavy construction equipment dealer with locations in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Big Lake, and Brainerd. RTL is an authorized distributor of cranes, excavators, wheel loaders, compact construction equipment, and aggregate equipment. Over the past 25 years, RTL has developed a reputation as one of the premier dealerships in the Midwest offering premier brands such as Tadano, Demag, Kobelco, Bobcat, Develon, Terex Powerscreen, Inertia, Edge, Kafka, MultiQuip, and Xtreme.

Responsibilities:

· Utilize online / pdf’s / parts catalogs

· Promotes and sells products to meet customer needs

· Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required

· Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Special order and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations

· Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly

· Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the immediate supervisor

· Assist in annual inventory process

· Delivery / pick-up of parts in local area when needed

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Include:

• Proficient use of Outlook and Microsoft Office

· Basic parts and machinery knowledge

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Basic data entry/keyboarding skills

· Detail orientated

· Thrive in a fast-paced environment & can multi-task

· Ability to operate a forklift – skid steer or wiliness to learn

· Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example – lifting up to 60 pounds, sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling

· Valid driver's license and a safe driving record

· 8 hour shift (8-5, 9 hour day including 1 hour lunch)

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

· Parts sales, 1 year (Preferred)
