Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer II, you will apply your electrical design knowledge, skill, and ability to create construction drawings for the project owner and provide continuous professional support throughout the entire construction process.
- Produce construction electrical documents appropriate for permitting based on project specifics
- Accurately and timely produce electrical design elements consistent with project specifications
- Accurately and timely produce design elements in accordance with the project hours, scope & parameters
- Produce accurate and complete load calculations within project parameters
- Provide research design options consistent with project requirements
- Select appropriate equipment for project type
- Assist in the preparation of other documents germane to a project with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Follow established work rules, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- 4-year degree in Engineering required
- Knowledge of electrical engineering standards and other trades
- Knowledge of engineering drafting standards
- Knowledge of building codes and standards
- Basic knowledge of software tools; Knowledge of AutoCad
- Knowledge of Revit
Travel is anticipated between 0-10%.
