Napping Machine Operator - Crescent Woolen Mills

Crescent Woolen Mills is a manufacturer of woolen-spun yarns located on the western shore of Lake Michigan in beautiful Two Rivers, WI. The Napping Machine Operator is responsible for loading the napper machine with fabric, sewing ends together, placing fabric into steamer and unloading full rolls of fabric.

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Loading napper machine with fabric
• Sewing ends together for continuous run
• Placing fabric onto steamer
• Unloading full rolls of fabric
• Regularly moving yarn and fabric, bringing fabric to scale, weighing fabric, and recording weights of fabric on tickets
• Performs a variety of material handling and related functions 
• Napper will learn how to operate knitting machines
• Perform other related duties as assigned or directed.
