The Napping Machine Operator is responsible for loading the napper machine with fabric, sewing ends together, placing fabric into steamer and unloading full rolls of fabric.
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Loading napper machine with fabric
- Sewing ends together for continuous run
- Placing fabric onto steamer
- Unloading full rolls of fabric
- Regularly moving yarn and fabric, bringing fabric to scale, weighing fabric, and recording weights of fabric on tickets
- Performs a variety of material handling and related functions
- Napper will learn how to operate knitting machines
- Perform other related duties as assigned or directed.
