What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Coordinator position at RTP Company?
The Production Coordinator works with OEE sheets, inputs, and reports for the Henderson plant. This includes, but is not limited to scanning all manufacturing paperwork, working with management regarding monitoring the integrity of inventory and material handling processes to ensure that both company and customer requirements are met.
Work Schedule: 1st Shift 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Collects data from the Henderson plant and submits reports for overall equipment efficiency
- Creates reports of requested data.
- Facilitate and support the scheduling activities on a daily and weekly basis.
- Assist with coordination of uniform program at the site.
- Interface with various corporate departments (Human Resources, Safety, Purchasing, others) and assist as needed.
- Assist with audits in manufacturing for housekeeping, inventory or other activities.
- Scans and indexes all manufacturing paperwork to OnBase network.
- Input finished weights and consumption of raw materials in batches in ERP
- Print, fix, and delete batches on weekly production schedules
- Investigate discrepancies in raw material consumptions and finished material production and report these to the proper department.
- Ensure accuracy of raw materials and adjust inventories as needed.
- Perform routine audits of stock
- Answer questions about data from site management or leadership
- Work with Plant Manager for inventory related transactions
- Assist in the yearly physical inventory, including entry of tags and preparing batches
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned, or apparent.

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred or an equivalent amount of experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in production and/or inventory preferred
- Experience with barcode scanners and label printers a plus
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

- Operates a computer and other office equipment such as a copy machine and printer

- Travel to other locations as needed
- Exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, dust, fumes, airborne particles, chemical dust, hot and cold weather conditions
- Exposed to moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to hazardous materials as defined by the OSHA Hazard Communication standard
Standard office and production environment. The noise level is usually low to moderate, due to office and production equipment.
Proper personal safety equipment is to be used as required by plant safety procedures.
