Description
The Product Development Engineer II is responsible for the formulation and development of engineered thermoplastic compounds. This is a hands-on position that requires a significant amount of formulation, process, and lab work, as well as day to day interaction with customers, material, and equipment vendors, other RTP Development Engineers, Technicians, Sales Engineers, Customer Service Representatives, and Market and Product Managers. The overall responsibilities of this position will fall in the Structural Products with emphasis on Automotive Development and support.

Standard office, lab, and production environments. The noise level is typically low, due to office equipment, the noise level on the production floor and lab is typically medium to high. This position requires the use of safety equipment as dictated by the work area such as safety glasses, shoes, face shields, gloves, etc.
