About the Role
RTR Vehicles is seeking a talented and strategic Content Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic and growing Marketing Team. This role would be expected to create compelling content that balances education, community engagement, and sales-driven messaging. This role is perfect for a creative and strategic thinker who can blend engaging storytelling with performance-driven content marketing. This is a full-time, in-person role at the RTR Lab in Concord, NC.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and manage a content calendar focused on blogs, web updates, and community-driven articles.
- Identify SEO opportunities across RTR’s website, optimizing copy to increase organic traffic.
- Ensure all content aligns with RTR’s brand tone and voice.
- Maintain a balance between educational and sales-driven content, seamlessly integrating calls to action.
Website & SEO Optimization:
- Write and optimize product descriptions, collection pages, and general site copy with keyword-rich, SEO-focused content.
- Conduct keyword research and implement best practices for on-page SEO to improve search rankings.
- Regularly review site analytics to track content performance and refine strategy.
Email & SMS Marketing:
- Craft community-driven email and SMS campaigns that engage our audience beyond promotions.
- Develop transactional and sales-focused copy that drives conversions while maintaining an authentic voice.
- Assist in growing RTR’s email/SMS audiences through compelling messaging.
Community Engagement & Social Content:
- Contribute to building a more engaged RTR community through interactive content (polls, storytelling, behind-the-scenes insights, etc.).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that resonates with enthusiasts and drives brand advocacy.
- Actively engage with fans through content that fosters deeper brand relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of SEO, keyword strategy, and content marketing best practices.
- Ability to write compelling, on-brand copy across blogs, product pages, emails, SMS, and web copy.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, and Google Analytics (training can be provided).
- Passion for the automotive industry (RTR/Ford Performance knowledge is a plus).
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
Compensation and Benefits
- Job Type: Full-time, in-person (Concord, NC)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour workday (occasional weekends for events)
- Salary Range: $60,000 annually
