Athena Group Advisors (“Athena”) is the dedicated Family Office of a life sciences and biotech investment firm.
Position Overview
Athena is looking for a dynamic, creative and imaginative Events Coordinator. In this role :
- You will play a pivotal role in creating extraordinary events, ranging from large corporate and investor events at RTW Investments, mid-sized events in support of non-profit work of RTW Foundation, to small intimate events for Athena clients.
- You will be responsible for managing experiences that help build / deepen relationships and reflect our brand and culture.
- You will collaborate across diverse teams—including investment professionals, finance, legal, and compliance.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Partner closely with various stakeholders to develop an annual corporate event strategy that supports the broader goals of the organization.Coordinate with external vendors (including event planners) in the planning and execution of events.Build events communication campaigns and marketing collateral; track registrations and engagements, utilizing data to modify outreach and interactions accordingly.Craft an event-in-a-box playbook and resource center to scale events.Own systems management and reporting for team dashboards and platforms; conduct regular reporting of engagement activities; produce post-event analysis, budget evaluations, and participant feedback for internal partners; incorporate lessons learned into future plans.Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience producing events in a fast-paced environment.Poise and presence working with executives in a highly cross-functional and collaborative environment.Proven track record of supporting high-quality, memorable branded experiences while staying within budget.Demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness; someone with an eye for detail and an appreciation of nuance, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Ability to participate in cross-functional team event execution from idea through execution and post-production analysis.Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve last minute needs in fast-paced, high-visibility situations.High EQ; able to persuade, influence, and build trust at the team and executive level.Strong partnership skills; we are connectors at our core and find joy in building trusted connections within the firm, within our portfolio, and with the industries in which we operate.Effectively project-manage cross-functional initiatives; enjoy thinking about organizational processes, internal communications, and creating consistently high-end experiences.Compensation & Benefits :
