What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Rubberlite, Inc.?

Summary

This position executes maintenance procedures and processes associated with all production and manufacturing equipment. This includes the current plant, plant additions, and special projects relating to production, research, and development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs and maintains equipment repairs, adjustments, and optimizations

Performs preventive maintenance as scheduled or instructed

Responsible and accountable for observing, following, and facilitating all environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies

Adheres and is accountable to Management of Change (MOC) policies and procedures

Applies basic mathematical skills and concepts in planning, performing, and communicating work

Continuously develops and demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of company products, materials, equipment, systems, and work processes

Conducts machine inspections and maintenance (including preventive, routine, and troubleshooting)

Effectively supports production and project work

Adheres to, and is accountable for, all established company policies and procedures. These include (PPE, Safe Work Permits, Red Tag, Elevated Work, and 6S)

Prioritizes and advocates safety, industrial hygiene, and responsible environmental practices

Maintains cleanliness in designated workspaces by practicing 6S principles

Qualification Requirements

Vocational training related to Maintenance or Engineering with a focus in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical field preferred, or relevant education and experience equivalents.

Controls integration knowledge and experience preferred.
