Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled part time Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a part time technician, you will work less than 40 hours per week. You will perform scheduled maintenance duties during regular hours, but may also remain on call to handle repairs when promised. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance repairs, work on a flexible schedule, handle modifications on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance ad efficiency.

Duties

• Report any repairs needed to the Maintenance Manager/ Site Manager.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all necessary machinery and facility areas.
• Clean and maintain the Maintenance shop tools and equipment as needed.
• Assist in providing on-the-job training for employees.
• Maintaining your work area in a clean, safe and organized fashion at all times.
• Report any inefficient or unsafe conditions to management upon discovery of the conditions.
• Perform all work using safety equipment as instructed while obeying all safety-rules and procedures.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and co-workers continuously to maintain efficient operations.

Experience

• Required minimum 5 years' proven experience in Maintenance.
• Machinery maintenance experience in production environment
• Must have a solid understanding of the technical aspects of mechanics, Troubleshooting other than electrical
• Must have strong trouble shooting skills and a strong attention to detail
• Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
• Ability to keep track and report on activity
• Experience in planning maintenance operations.
• Ability to read and understand machinery schematics, mechanical, electrical, structural, electrical, and mechanical

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
