As the Firm expands, Rubenstein Law is committed to providing every single client with the excellent care and attention that has built the Firm's reputation and success.Job SummaryOur Pre-Litigation Attorneys are responsible for all aspects of a personal injury case (up to the filing of a complaint).Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise and provide direction to a team of staff membersEvaluate the merits of a personal injury caseProvide guidance and counsel to clientsMedical case reviewResearch and legal analysisNegotiate and authorize settlements in the pre-litigation stageQualifications and SkillsA license in good standing to practice law in New YorkAt least two years of experience with client contact and / or negotiation experienceStrong research, verbal, and written communication skillsThe ability to handle a large and active caseloadPrioritization of client representation and customer serviceExcellent investigator and problem-solver skillsSuccess providing direction and guidance to a team of staffFormidable negotiation skillsBenefitsPaid Time Off (PTO) plus 8-paid holidaysBonusesMedical Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, STD & LTD, and other medical coverages)Bereavement LeaveHospital LeaveGroup and Optional Life insurance401(k) with company matching#J-18808-Ljbffr
