Rubicon Recruiting seeks a motivated Sales Professional to join our client's Phoenix, AZ team. Our client manufactures top-notch products in the USA, specifically designed for commercial and industrial construction applications. These products are sold to various industries, including municipalities, manufacturers, technology data centers, semiconductor manufacturers, mining companies, and others.

The ideal candidate will bring 2 years of experience selling mechanical construction-related product lines and have a desire to grow and be challenged in their career. Flow control, valves, instrumentation, and controls are ideal!

In this role, you will drive sales strategy, create demand, and maintain relationships with engineering firms, OEMs, owners, and contractors while supporting local distributor partners. You'll present products and solutions to customers, conduct weekly presentations to get products "specified" into projects, build and execute a sales strategy to exceed targets in UT, CO, and WY, analyze sales stats and market needs, manage customer relationships, and more. You'll also use Salesforce.com to report, develop distributor partners, provide training, stay informed about competitors, and attend industry events.
What you must bring:
- 2 years of outside technical sales with mechanical construction and related products.
- Positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Ability to build long-term relationships.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience managing sales budgets.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Bachelor’s degree. Engineering is preferred but not required. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is a plus!
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Willingness and ability to complete overnight travel 50% -at times.
Compensation:
Targeted first-year earnings are $150,000 -. The base pay is $90,000 to $100,000, plus a company vehicle. A comprehensive vacation, PTO, and benefits package are also included.
