Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Atlanta, GA - Hybrid

Reports to: Head of HR

Key Responsibilities

The HR Generalist supports a lean HR team with helping to cultivate a positive employee and manager experience at the company. The HR Generalist will be responsible for the following areas and realize that these areas of responsibility may fluctuate with the needs of the team and the business. Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, human resources policies, procedures & matters of concern. Will conduct employee investigations and appropriately document and close out concerns. Will provide guidance to managers and employees to enhance positive employee and manager experience.
  • Drive programs for employee development; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommend changes to enhance retention of talent
  • Assess and make recommendations for employee/leadership training and development, policy revisions, employee engagement, etc. based on considerations of operational objects, workplace opportunities for improvement, workforce culture, and company values.
  • First point of contact for benefits and payroll inquiries while driving reward and recognition efforts
  • Maintain recruitment process including reviewing job descriptions, posting positions, scheduling interviews and onboarding selected individuals
  • Manage temporary staffing services.
  • Assist with the implementation of HR internal policies and practices, legal compliance, employee relations, employment practices and procedures
  • Act as an impartial advocate to ensure all individuals receive fair and impartial treatment
  • Maintain employee files, leave of absence documents and other employment related documents in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Utilize and audit the HRIS system to ensure thorough and correct information tracking and retrieval, running necessary reports
  • Work with the HR team and cross-functionally to ensure legal compliance with all government regulations by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirement.
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other business management degree required.
  • 2 years of progressive HR generalist experience preferably with a strong interest in employee relations.
  • Proficiency in UKG/UltiPro or equivalent HRIS required.
  • Experience with company size of over 200 employees in the entire life cycle of HR – multi-site oversight strongly preferred
  • PHR or SPHR, preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence without authority, and impact change by leading individuals in a matrix environment
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Must exhibit a sense of urgency, commitment to quality and timely completion of duties

Occasional travel may be necessary to attend team meetings and fulfill role-specific tasks. Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,151.00 per year
