What You’ll Be Doing
- Brand Strategy & Design: Define and execute a clear and compelling brand identity that differentiates Rubrik in the market. Develop a clear value proposition, consistent brand voice, unified messaging framework, and unified visual identity aligned to company objectives and customer needs.
- Brand Amplification: Elevate brand visibility by cultivating relationships with influencers and industry leaders. Partner closely with the Global Comms team to help drive earned media coverage and thought leadership opportunities reinforcing our credibility and market position. Champion brand purpose, ensuring it is coordinated into the definition of our brands and into how our brands show up at every touch point. Monitor and manage brand equity, including brand awareness and loyalty.
- Digital & Content Marketing: Develop a data-driven content strategy supporting inbound marketing and lead generation, and guide the direction of high-impact content across web, blog, and other channels to engage our audience with thought leadership.
- Growth Marketing & Demand Generation: Build and execute targeted, brand-driven campaigns that attract, nurture, and convert customers. Leverage data and analytics to optimize performance and ROI.
- Brand Team Leadership: Build and lead a world-class brand team including the Creative and Content Marketing teams, and deploy the Brand budget the most effective and efficient ways. Advocate for brand marketing investments that create sustainable, marketing impact and business growth.
- Customer Obsession: Be a knowledgeable authority on the audiences and personas we support including those in the offices of the CIO and CISO, and industries in which we compete. Conduct market research to understand customer preferences and industry trends. Bring fresh, relevant points of view to the work at hand and build what's next.
- Proven experience building brands and results-oriented marketing plans. Familiarity with brand fundamentals (architecture, identity, and competitive positioning) of global brands.
- Applied use of consumer insights, market research, marketing analytics and measurement models
- Understanding of full-funnel marketing; diverse marketing channels, associated goals, and metrics
- Be a confident storyteller; exhibit executive presence combined with communication and social skills that authentically engage all levels of the organization
- Be energized by connecting the dots between insights, strategy and planning, and impactful results
- Model collaboration and leadership combined with optimism, curiosity, creativity, and a bias for swift action
- Comfort with co-creation processes and an understanding that great outcomes are made possible with strong partnerships with stakeholders
- Strong business knowledge and results orientation
- 12 years’ experience in brand marketing
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
