Restaurant Support

The Osprey is seeking qualified candidates for Support Staff positions (Expediter, Host). The right candidates will be punctual, accountable, hardworking, and professional. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greeting guests in a timely manner and providing an excellent first impression with a warm welcome and sincere service
• Meeting guests needs by providing the best possible seating preference.
• Controlling the flow of the restaurant, ensuring proper service timing and excellent guest service
• Maintaining clear communication with fellow staff of seating assignments
• Proper service etiquette when answering phones, offering to answer all

inquiries and/or thoroughly take down guest information for a manager to follow up

• Accurate order entry for togo food and drinks
• Understanding of products and ability to describe and give proper recommendations of all menu items
• Proficiency with pointofsale functions and accuracy of order entry
• Accurate handling of cash and card transactions.
• Go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction
• Take initiative in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and stocking duties of restaurant
• Thorough completion of all side work check lists daily
• Always willing and eager to help teammates and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and maintain professionalism in high volume situations
• Maintain positive attitude and contribute to fostering a healthy and fun

work environment
