Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests by ensuring prompt service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Utilize POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Provide recommendations for food and drink pairings to enhance guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server in fine dining or nightclub environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software such as OpenTable is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
